Theraputic Approach

As a senior therapist in our family counseling practice, my approach to helping people has been anchored in my Christian convictions and my biblical training. As a therapist, I believe it is of utmost importance that individuals acquire an accurate and honest view of themselves. Someone has said, “The truest thing about any of us, is what God says about us.” Realizing this truth and applying it to one’s life will make all the difference in the world. In marriage counseling, I take a proactive and interactive role in my work with couples and require that each participant strive, at all times, to take personal responsibility for his/her behaviors and beliefs. I take great care in extending grace to each and every person that walks into my office.

Marriage and Pre-Marriage Counseling

Riding my Harley from 1 hour to days on the road. Fly-fishing with my sons and grandsons. I love road trips in a car or on the Harley with my better-half Paula. I love the mountains year round and thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to spend time refreshing at our family mountain cabins. I’ve been known to disappear for hours on my mountain bike on one of northern Colorado’s awesome bike trails. I have grown up in Fort Collins, so I love to get out and experience all the growth, eateries, movies and entertainment.
